OUR MISSION STATEMENT

 

Bethlehem Temple of Praise exists to make Christian disciples who are empowered to minister the grace of God, engaged in the discovery and utilization of spiritual gifts and committed to advance the kingdom of God through teaching, fellowship and worship.

Matthew 28:19-20

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the world. Amen

 

1 Corinthians 12:4-7

4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God, which work all in all. 7, But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one to profit withal.

 

1 Peter 4:10-11

10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God: if any man minister, let him do it as  of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise  and dominion for ever and ever. Amen

CORE VALUES 

           

We are kingdom builders at BTOP; we are an evangelistic church. We are committed to the commission of our Lord when he said, “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15). We believe in INTENTIONAL EVANGELISM. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not promulgated by accident. Christ never gave a commission to build great church buildings. Although our facilities do provide amenities that make us feel comfortable for use of congregate worship. However, he did call us to evangelism and discipleship. Bethlehem Temple of Praise believes in the three “P’s” of evangelism and discipleship; Purpose, Preparation, and Practice. Evangelism is the foundation and key to growth and advancement of the kingdom of God. Each member is encouraged to be purposeful and intentional in the area of evangelism.
